HALIFAX: GRAIN SILO CLOSING

Finally the biggest eyesore in Halifax is closing over at Point Pleasant Park and Atlantic Street.

You talk about out of date.

With the money the city will save from canelled T4 slip paper will pay for new cheap imported bread and grain products…

My joke was Halifax is a British port city…in fact Halifax is probably better off using Jamiaca as a service location anyway.

I mean if you live in Australlia then Halifax is Jamiaca to you anyway.

Now the shipping port over at the old British ruins at the port just threw out some grain silo business…

They mean on tv locally that the old grain silo is a new open market here in Halifax now no competition.

CANADA: Reminder, New Holiday

In September in Canada has a new Holiday on September 30.

It’s Truth & Reconcilation Day.

Or something like that.

So August is Back To School sale, then Labor Day Weekend.

Then after that for the rest of the month of September the teachers are all standing up at the school at assembly reading to them and sharing their experiences about the new holiday.

I assume citing long form texts and presenting new research thesis for grants to write about the new holiday.

This new holiday represents the meetings about the new treaty with Native Americans that led to the first Thanksgiving.

At the conclusion of this holiday weekend students will be versed with classes about Thanksgiving / Halloween and then ready to start October on Tuesday.

NFL: RE: Two Point Plays

I get sick of University Football players asking me what’s going on outside with two points.

Like out back in locker room at the shower, “hey Jason, I see you went back to ballet and act as a fake girl in plays….why don’t you tell me about two point conversions?”

My only point is, if you know Football Rules….you can say this back.

“Right…well it looks like we’re start at 25 yards and goal and play for two points for five minutes.”

Anyway, if you were all in the mens shower with us you would have got the joke.

HALIFAX: RE: McDonald Bridge Weekend Closure, Updated

I mean it’s the Holidays now…

Remember the Family Man Movie.

Like in that movie families under $20,000 income have no bridge this weekend.

While in University educated houses their bridge is still open.

I mean I got no time for standing around when I’m out.

Halloween, Thanksgiving, American Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas week and New Years coming.

Updated, like how they expect you get around on a time schedule with all these people standing around like with no home routines annoying people shopping.

Then you have to use one bridge.

RE: Insurance Claims On Accidents Like In Previous Post

Well I would say everyone there on the interchange was speeding anyway.

The spot is at Mumford Road and Kempt Road.

My point is, all the traffic is on the Mumford Road Side over to Rockingham at Flamingo Drive.

That’s where the accident is at.

It’s not busy at all on the other side of the road Kempt Road to Highway 107 / Main Street Dartmouth.

I mean, that’s the MacKay bridge side.

The accident is the McDonald Bridge side which is closed tonight until Monday.

The insurance company will look at the crush speed of the small car to the large cement truck.

If the crushed car was hit by speeding the cororner’s office will determine if it murder or not by the speed it takes to crush the car.

If someone dies, that’s how they determine if there’s no insurance.

RE: HALIFAX, Speeding Cement Truck T-bones Small Grey Compact Car At Shopping Center

You should have seen it, not one police car or ambulance in the whole area.

A full cement truck hit a small grey compact car right in the drivers door at Halifax Shopping Center and not one emergency vehicle was in the area and they were just sitting there in major traffic and no one stopped or helped when I went by on the Metro bus.
