I just have to say,…
At the Halifax Internationl Airport they are building new neighbourhoods and highway overpasses in the area.
I went hiking and construction in the area has really taken off at the trucking areas around IKEA.

Well, new areas are really opening up with trucking and it has become a super nice area, lots of people there working at 24 hour trucking areas…I mean the place is huge and packed with jobs etc., plus is open 24 hours…full of parks and camping around the Trans Canada Trail.
Well….
I get back to town and with all those people there working in this area there is no excuse for Child Poverty in Waverly, Nova Scotia.
I mean the whole area is brand new stores and housing, open 24 hours.
“In town”, here is my point.
Children living in apartments and houses in the Dartmouth area who claim poverty are not even enrolled in Day Care at the Nova Scotia Commumity College areas.
Ages 2 – 5, children watch across the street Stats Canada claims….as other kids eat for free at the Day Care beteeen 8 am and 5 pm.
I mean, Day Care is free for the poor who are not enrolled in any activities, may have no backyard or upstairs to play in.
Right across from local Day Care centers.
On Earth, who in whole world could sit in a house with no acitivies with a toddler for five years, could never complain once about not having something.
As they watch every other child in HRM go to Dare Care and eat for free, and be enrolled in sports, field trips and extra cirrcular activites.
Sorry every, I’m the type of spending person that evey I used to know in a band on welfare all had a real leather jacket.
That other stuff not something I know about.
Well Stats Canada I’ll tell you this and it is so.
You can’t say children in Halifax Regional Municipality don’t have free food for ages 2 – 5 from 8 am to 5 pm in this city five days a week.
